Once upon a time, in a peaceful land beside a sparkling river, lived three goat brothers — Leo, Max, and Toby.
Leo, the eldest, was strong and fearless.
Max, the middle brother, was quick and clever.
And little Toby… was small, cute, but surprisingly smart.
Every day, they happily grazed on the soft green grass near the river. Life was simple… and perfect.
But one day… everything changed.
The grass was gone.
Toby looked around with teary eyes.
“Leo… Max… what will we eat now?”
Max stepped forward with a hopeful smile.
“Don’t worry! I saw a huge green meadow on the other side of the river.”
Leo nodded confidently.
“Then we cross the bridge. That meadow will be ours!”
But there was a problem…
Under the bridge lived a terrifying troll named Grum.
He hated visitors… and loved eating goats.
The brothers hesitated… but hunger was stronger than fear.
Leo asked,
“Who will go first?”
Toby stepped forward bravely.
“I will.”

Toby slowly stepped onto the bridge.
Trip… trap… trip… trap…
Suddenly—
“WHO IS CROSSING MY BRIDGE?!” roared Grum.
Toby trembled… but stayed calm.
“I’m Toby… just a small goat. Please let me pass.”
Grum climbed up, showing his sharp teeth.
“I’ll eat you!”
Toby quickly replied,
“But I’m too small… I won’t fill your stomach. My brother Max is coming next. He’s much bigger.”
Grum paused… then grinned.
“Fine. Go!”
Toby ran across safely.
Max’s Turn
Max walked onto the bridge.
TRIP… TRAP… TRIP… TRAP…
“WHO IS CROSSING MY BRIDGE?!” yelled Grum again.
“It’s Max,” he said boldly.
“I’ll eat you!” the troll shouted.
Max smirked.
“You could… but my older brother Leo is coming. He’s huge. You’ll regret missing him.”
Grum’s eyes widened.
“Hmm… alright. Go.”
Max crossed safely.
Leo’s Turn
Leo stepped onto the bridge.
THUMP… THUMP… THUMP…
Grum roared louder than ever,
“NOW I’LL EAT YOU!”
Leo stood firm.
“You can try.”
Grum charged.
But Leo was ready.
With full strength, he charged forward—
BOOM!
He knocked Grum high into the air…
…and the troll fell straight into the river, disappearing forever.
Leo crossed the bridge proudly.
Toby and Max cheered.
Together, they enjoyed the lush green meadow.
From that day on, they lived happily… without fear.
Use your brain before strength… but when needed, courage wins everything.
